Why Music?
It’s simple. I BELIEVE.
I believe music is a critical component of the human spirit’s survival. it’s the liner notes of our lives. It’s the only language that connects all our hearts, across all divides.
I believe there is a different way of “doing Music Business”. A sustainable way of creating for everyone. A way that supports creators to do what they are meant for - and be rewarded.
I believe it starts by helping music professionals put their wellbeing at the center of their work.
My Approach
YOU are the expert on you.
My role as a coach is to help you not only smooth out the steepness of the "hills and valleys" of life, but to put your stake in the ground for what you want to live for. To keep your eyes on the big picture vision and goals you are creating, while navigating the day-to-day. I am here to help you be the leader of your life, no matter your title or role.
When you write the rules for what you want, who you want to be and how you want to lead your life, you will:
-Make decisions more quickly and confidently
-Eliminate the mind-chatter of self-doubt
-Stop the swirl of overwhelm
-Create a clear path forward
My "toolbox" ranges from practical to unconventional - all in the interest we find what works best for where you want to go next!
Belief Re-Imagined
My journey to working in music began in the world of finance. While experiencing success working with banks and small businesses, there was still something missing. Deep down, there was a calling to serve the arts. After too many years of pushing back this “crazy” idea, I finally listened to the Universe - and Perfect Interval was created.
I get to blend my practical corporate and business coaching experience with my love and passion for all things music, in all the best ways!
I'm on a mission to create a new way of doing business in music.
The legacy of my work in this world is distilled in 3 things:
I> To elevate the everyday artist, to help them create by their own rules, and be rewarded well for it. Creating sustainable businesses, with their mental wellbeing at the center.
II> To showcase and leverage Art as an integral part of community placemaking - rural and urban. When artists create within their community, they can develop more opportunities and more equity - making art sustainable AND the community more viable.
III> To champion arts in our schools as a critical component of our children’s education. The science of it’s importance is well established - it’s our job to make sure kids have the exposure and opportunity.
It all starts with Artists believing. Believing in themselves, their creation, and the VALUE of art in their community and the world.
The world NEEDS artists.
